Position Summary

Fairlane Hotel is seeking an Overnight Houseperson to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the hotel overnight, with a focus on preparing housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and supplies for the next day's operation.

This role performs the same core cleaning and guest-support duties as the daytime Houseperson, with added emphasis on overnight stocking and preparation.

RESPONSIBILITIESOvernight Preparation:

• Stock and prepare housekeeping carts with linen, amenities, and supplies for the morning shift
• Organize and restock storage rooms and floor closets so Room Attendants can begin promptly
• Conduct inventory checks on linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies; flag shortages
• Complete overnight deepcleaning projects (public areas, elevators, light fixtures)
  
  

Guest Room & Floor Support:

• Strip linen and trash from vacant rooms and prepare rooms for nextday servicing
• Deliver housekeeping items to guest rooms upon overnight request
• Respond promptly and discreetly to guest requests during overnight hours
  
  

Daily Operations & Safety:

• Receive assignments, keys, and radio from the overnight supervisor or ManageronDuty
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost and found items immediately
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all safety and security protocols
• Communicate clearly with the morning Housekeeping team during shift handover
  
  

QUALIFICATIONSRequired:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working alone or with a small team during lowoccupancy hours
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods overnight; lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  
  

Preferred:

• Prior housekeeping experience
• Experience with overnight hotel operations or stocking/inventory routines
  
  

SCHEDULE

Overnight, on-property position. Must be available for weekends and holidays.
