Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality food output, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Oversee inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Lead menu planning efforts, incorporating innovative dishes while maintaining consistency with established culinary standards.
  • Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service.
  • Enforce strict food safety protocols and sanitation practices across all kitchen areas.
  • Manage shift schedules, monitor labor costs, and support overall restaurant management activities to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in food production, fine dining cuisine, and catering environments.
  • Proven supervisory and team management skills with a focus on leadership development.
  • Strong background in banquet experience and dietary department procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of inventory management, inventory control, and food handling procedures.
  • Skilled in menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
  • Familiarity with food service management systems and restaurant experience is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead shift management efforts while maintaining high standards of hospitality and customer service.
