Responsibilities

• Operate laundry equipment efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, towels, and guest clothing.
• Perform thorough cleaning duties across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Handle dry cleaning tasks for delicate garments using specialized equipment and techniques.
• Restock linen closets and supply carts to ensure availability of clean linens throughout the property.
• Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and laundry machinery to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed, including vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
• Support the overall cleanliness of the hotel by ensuring all areas are tidy, organized, and welcoming for guests.

Skills

• Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping preferred.
• Strong knowledge of laundry procedures, including use of commercial washing machines and dry cleaning methods.
• Excellent cleaning skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines when handling chemicals and operating laundry equipment.
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as necessary.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond to guest needs promptly.
