Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial services, hotel or hospitality environments, and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, safe, and clean for all guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitization to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance housekeeping skills and knowledge of best practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred; experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care methods.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and staff.
• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
