Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to ensure a comfortable stay for guests
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and organizing
• Perform detailed floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, polishing floors, and operating industrial cleaning equipment to preserve a polished appearance
• Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products efficiently while adhering to safety standards
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols consistently to maintain a hygienic environment
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to support overall hotel operations

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work or custodial services within hotels or similar hospitality settings
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and carpet cleaning using industrial equipment
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards for guest service excellence
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
• Prior experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus but not required
