Overview Front Desk Agent 3-11PM Evening Shift
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team at a premier resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and streamline operations.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, handling guest inquiries and reservations
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special accommodations promptly and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest preferences
- Assist with night audit procedures as needed to ensure smooth overnight operations
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and guest relations throughout all interactions
- Support administrative tasks related to front desk operations as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk roles preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed in a resort setting
- Demonstrated ability to handle guest relations with professionalism and tact
- Hospitality or hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates willing to learn
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
