Front Desk Agent

Job Summary:
As a Front Desk Agent at Fairfield Inn by Marriott, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience. You will be responsible for handling guest check-ins and check-outs, answering inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for throughout their stay.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality.
• Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
• Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the property management system.
• Answer phones and respond promptly to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and general information.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints with empathy and ensure prompt resolution or escalation to management when necessary.
• Process payments accurately, including cash, credit card, and direct billing transactions.
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area.
• Uphold Marriott brand standards and company policies at all times.
• Assist with administrative and clerical duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills; prior experience with hotel property management systems is a plus.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
