Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, plating, and assembling menu items using proper food handling techniques
- Manage guest interactions with professionalism, including taking orders, answering questions about menu options, and providing exceptional guest service
- Restock supplies and ensure all food safety protocols are followed to maintain hygiene standards
- Support catering events or banquet setups when needed, including serving guests or clearing tables
- Buss tables promptly and assist with cleaning duties to uphold a tidy dining environment
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate meal service and address guest needs efficiently
- Handle phone inquiries professionally and assist with reservations or special requests using platforms like OpenTable
Experience
Candidates should bring a strong foundation in food service or hospitality roles, ideally with experience in breakfast or café settings. Prior kitchen experience is highly valued, especially skills in food preparation, knife handling, meat cutting, and meal assembly. Familiarity with food safety standards and dietary accommodations ensures you can serve guests responsibly. Excellent communication skills, guest relations expertise, and a friendly demeanor are essential for creating positive guest interactions.
