We are seeking a dynamic and talented Barber/Cosmetologist to join our all women vibrant team As a Barber/Cosmetologist/nail tech, you will be the heart of our salon, delivering exceptional hair and beauty services that leave clients feeling confident and beautiful. Your expertise in barbering, hair styling, extensions, and grooming will be complemented by your ability to connect with clients, understand their needs, and provide personalized solutions. Duties

• Perform professional hair cutting, hair styling, coloring, and hair extension and nail tech applications using techniques such as balayage, highlights, and various coloring methods based on color theory principles.
• Apply hair extensions with precision, ensuring natural look and comfort for clients.
• Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently.
• Provide expert services in eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading to enhance client beauty routines.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to client preferences, offering professional advice, and upselling retail products like hair care and styling tools.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness by following strict hygiene protocols for tools, stations, and treatment areas.
• Mentor junior staff members by sharing techniques in barbering, cosmetology, and retail sales strategies while fostering a positive team environment.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, handling inquiries, and processing payments accurately.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, color theory, and beauty treatments through ongoing education and training sessions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hair styling with expertise in hair extensions, barbering, coloring and nail tech techniques.
• Knowledge of salon scheduling and client management.
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices within a salon environment.
• Certification or licensure in cosmetology or barbering as required by local regulations.
• Skilled in advanced services including eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse clients confidently and professionally.
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Store management experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles within the salon setting.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor team members while fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
