Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites in Morgantown, WV. The ideal hours are from 5am to 11am and the candidate will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming breakfast experience for our guests, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with food service operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Set up breakfast buffet stations, replenish supplies, and maintain cleanliness throughout service
- Assist with food preparation, including basic cooking, slicing, and portioning as needed
- Handle guest inquiries courteously and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables and cleaning utensils and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure health standards are maintained
- Support catering or banquet setups if required, including serving guests during special events
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, guest relations, and communication skills to ensure a positive guest experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety practices, and proper handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work mornings or early shifts typical of breakfast service, 5am to 11am
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude
- Experience in kitchen operations, bussing, cleaning, or serving roles is advantageous
