You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the breakfast area.
Duties
- Prepare and set up breakfast items, ensuring all food is fresh and appealing.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, countertops, and serving equipment.
- Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing information about menu items and dietary options.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including coffee machines, toasters, and other appliances.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to replenish food items as needed throughout the breakfast service.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Perform bussing duties to clear tables and maintain a tidy dining environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; experience in hotels or restaurants is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience with kitchen tasks such as cooking, meal preparation, and cleaning.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience in roles such as host/host, barista, or dietary aide is advantageous.
- Must possess basic culinary skills.
