- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a spotless appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests or residents
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely resolution
- Adhere to established health and safety standards to create a safe environment for all occupants
- Support team efforts by assisting with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping roles, preferably within hospitality or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, and buffing floors
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and thoroughness
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts
