Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, handling inquiries efficiently and courteously.
- Check guests in and out accurately, processing reservations and cancellations with attention to detail.
- Assist guests with inquiries about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and directions to enhance their stay.
- Handle guest requests promptly, including room changes, special accommodations, or troubleshooting issues.
- Maintain guest records and ensure all information is up-to-date in the hotel management system.
- Support night audit procedures when required, reconciling daily transactions and ensuring financial accuracy.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs swiftly and effectively.
- Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel management roles with a focus on front desk operations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued for effective communication with international guests.
- Knowledge of hotel experience systems and multi-line phone systems for efficient operations.
- Familiarity with guest relations, resort environments, and hospitality best practices.
- Ability to manage night audit responsibilities when needed, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Previous experience in guest services or front desk roles within hotels or resorts is preferred.
