The ideal candidate will have experience in dry cleaning and laundering, particularly in a hotel or hospitality environment. This position is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our services.
Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder linens and garments.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures.
- Handle dry cleaning processes with care and attention to detail.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a laundry attendant role or similar position is preferred.
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Ability to operate laundry machines and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
