Maintenance Lead

Job Summary
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for overseeing all equipment and facilities and that they are maintained in optimal working condition. This role involves managing maintenance operations, and implementing effective maintenance management practices to enhance productivity and safety within the organization.

Duties

• Ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Manage routine and preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery.
• Oversee project management for maintenance-related projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related concerns and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete report work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc., to maintain the hotel and keep the product quality standard.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and counters. Paint and finish furniture and fixtures if needed.
• Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters, and completing maintenance request forms and record logs.
• Respond in a courteous manner to all guest questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction.
• Be prepared for exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Operation of heavy machinery.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Skills

• Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Proficient in mechanical knowledge related to industrial maintenance practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing teams effectively.
• Solid project management abilities, capable of overseeing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and other departments effectively.
• Ability to maintain a positive work environment while driving performance improvements within the maintenance team.
• Fosse/Marriott Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
