We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of cleaning and maintenance operations within our hospitality environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning schedules, room inspections, and maintenance tasks to ensure consistent quality standards.
- Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures for various areas such as guest rooms, corridors, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; coordinate procurement to maintain operational readiness.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as brand standards.
- Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions to foster a productive team environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep-clean initiatives during low occupancy periods.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial supervision within the hospitality industry.
- Strong background in cleaning techniques including floor care (carpet cleaning, polishing), industrial cleaning methods, and custodial practices.
- Familiarity with hotel operations, guest service standards, and hospitality best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and custodial work is highly desirable.
