Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all food handling meets health regulations
- Restock supplies such as utensils, condiments, and beverages to keep the breakfast area fully equipped
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing fruit or assembling simple dishes as needed
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems and handle weight-based items with proper manual handling techniques
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments preferred, especially with fine dining or restaurant experience
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
