Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless environment.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
• Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a pristine appearance.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding specific cleaning needs and preferences to deliver personalized service.
• Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or janitorial cleaning, custodial work, or related roles such as carpet cleaning or outdoor work experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation procedures essential for maintaining hygiene standards.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and tools such as vacuums, floor buffers, mops, and detergents.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical endurance.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the workday.
• Prior experience in housekeeping management or residential housekeeping is preferred but not required.
