Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors to ensure a pristine environment.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly.
- Prepare and serve light meals or snacks as needed, utilizing cooking skills to meet residents’ or guests’ preferences.
- Manage carpet cleaning and floor care using appropriate equipment and techniques to preserve flooring quality.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally.
- Follow safety protocols and janitorial procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment at all times.
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience in residential or commercial settings is highly desirable.
- Experience with hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Skilled in various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices.
- Knowledge of laundry operations and proper handling of cleaning supplies.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management systems or schedules is advantageous.
