What are the responsibilities and job description for the American Sign Language (Long Term Substitute) position at Fairfield City School District?
American Sign Language Teacher (Long-Term Substitute, Fall 2026): Tentatively-August 28-October 13
Must hold a valid Ohio teaching certificate/license in American Sign Language. TESOL endorsement preferred, but not required. This position entails the ability to work on an academic team with other academic teachers as well as serve as an effective member of the World Language Department. Must be properly licensed in grade level, subject and student population.
Applicants that are offered a position shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCI criminal background check. Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based upon the discretion of the Board of Education will preclude an individual from employment with the Fairfield City School District.
