What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Nurse position at Fairfield City School District?
Opportunities to substitute as a nurse are available throughout the district. As a substitute, hours and/or days of work cannot be guaranteed as these opportunities are generated as absences occur or as other needs arise. To be added to the substitute nurse list, the following need to be submitted:
Applicants that are offered a substitute opportunity shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCI criminal background check. Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based upon the discretion of the Board of Education will preclude an individual from employment with the Fairfield City School District.

- Completed Application
- BCI and FBI background check results
- Must hold a RN license
- Must provide copy of nursing license and CPR
- Must hold an ODE permit
