Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
• Maintain public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and common spaces by performing sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal.
• Care for floors through proper cleaning techniques including carpet extraction and floor polishing to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
• Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, linens, and other essentials efficiently to meet guest needs.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards.
• Follow established health and safety protocols consistently to create a secure environment for guests and staff.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining a positive work atmosphere.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments with a focus on detailed housekeeping tasks.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Familiarity with hotel or industrial cleaning standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent custodial skills with the ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly.
