Duties
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of lobby areas, including floors, furniture, windows, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Perform routine floor care such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to keep surfaces spotless and safe for guests.
- Assist with janitorial tasks across public spaces, ensuring restrooms, hallways, and common areas meet hygiene standards.
- Support hotel staff by replenishing supplies in public areas and ensuring all amenities are tidy and accessible.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to cleanliness or facility maintenance, providing friendly service with a positive attitude.
- Conduct regular inspections of public spaces to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them for prompt resolution.
- Uphold safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or hotel setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Familiarity with hotel operations or hospitality industry standards is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in busy environments.
- Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
