Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage delivery tasks within Onfleet, ensuring all required information-such as destination address, customer contact details, delivery notes, and special instructions-is entered accurately.
- Assign tasks to specific drivers or teams by using Onfleet's task assignment tools.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and operations staff to ensure all tasks are created and assigned within required timelines.
- Assist in the creation and editing of Route Plans in the Onfleet dashboard to group tasks for efficient routing.
- Utilize Onfleet's automated route optimization features and make manual adjustments as needed to improve delivery efficiency.
- Review incoming delivery information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before inputting into the system.
- Monitor tasks for updates, changes, or errors and make corrections promptly.
- Maintain clear communication with drivers, dispatch, and customer service to support smooth delivery operations.
- Generate reports or summaries related to task creation, route assignments, or delivery performance when requested.
- Uphold data quality and confidentiality standards at all times.
- Proven experience in data entry, logistics coordination, dispatching, or related operational roles.
- Familiarity with Onfleet or similar delivery/route management software preferred.
- Strong typing accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow structured workflows and maintain consistency in data formatting.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working with technology and learning new software tools quickly.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with operations and driver teams.
