Role Description The Housekeeping Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ocean City, MD. This role oversees daily housekeeping operations, including assigning tasks, inspecting guest areas and back-of-house spaces, and ensuring cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met. The Housekeeping Supervisor trains and supports housekeeping and laundry team members, monitors inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, and coordinates with other departments to respond promptly to guest needs. The role includes handling guest feedback or concerns related to cleanliness, maintaining safety and sanitation procedures, and updating records or reports on room status and team performance. The supervisor is expected to lead by example, support a positive work environment, and help optimize efficiency and quality in all housekeeping activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess solid Housekeeping experience, with knowledge of cleaning standards, room inspections, and sanitation procedures.
- Candidates should possess Laundry skills, including handling linens, operating laundry equipment, and managing laundry workflows.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Relevant experience in hospitality or hotel/restaurant environments is beneficial.
