Faegre Drinker is actively recruiting a patent associate to join our Intellectual Property practice. This position offers the opportunity to focus on patent prosecution from our Philadelphia office.
Ideal candidates will have one to three years of patent prosecution experience and the indicated chemical engineering or materials science background. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience with technologies such as filtration, material science, polymer science and medical devices, and should have experience with both chemical and mechanical preparation and prosecution. Patent searching and analysis skills a plus. Bar admission is required. We are seeking an associate who is collaborative and motivated to succeed in a client-focused, team-oriented environment. Candidates must also have excellent academic credentials and have strong written and oral communications skills.
