Overview
The Service Journeyman Electrician performs different types of support at the customers location, such as troubleshooting, setup, and installation of systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair units while in the field.
- Maintain records of service calls, training, and expenses.
- Provide on-call emergency service as required and maintain communication with the department manager while in the field.
- Educate customers on preventive maintenance and safety regulations, and provide general customer service on the phone and in person.
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:
A Service Journeyman Electrician is responsible for managing electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting within commercial settings. They are responsible for managing small electrical projects on a fast timeline and for providing unparalleled customer service and support during emergency electrical service calls.
Physical Demands
- Sitting – ability to remain in normal seated position for prolonged period.
- Standing – ability to stand on one’s feet with little to no movement for a prolonged period.
- Walking – ability to move around on one’s feet for long period of time, often without breaks.

- Ability to work on and maneuver a ladder safely, both 3 legged and extension ladders for a prolonged period.

WE OFFER
- Status: Full-Time
- Schedule: Normal working hours of Monday-Friday 7AM – 3:00PM. This position may offer or require overtime, weekend, night or holiday work.
- Pay Rate: $25.00-30.00 per hour, * depending on experience. *
