Face Focused Orthodontics is looking for a highly organized, personable, and detail oriented Front Office / Receptionist to join our team. We are seeking someone who is warm, professional, confident with technology, and able to multitask in a fast paced orthodontic office environment.

Orthodontic or dental office experience is preferred, but not required. We are open to the right candidate who is eager to learn, comfortable using a Mac, and able to pick up new software systems quickly. We are also looking for someone who is excited to develop new skills, contribute to a fun and supportive team, and step into different roles when needed to help the office run smoothly. There is room for growth within this position for someone who is motivated, dependable, and excited to take on increasing responsibility over time. We value team members who want to grow with the practice and become an important part of our long term team.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and families, support the check in process, and help guide patient flow throughout the office
  • Schedule appointments efficiently through phone, email, text, and Weave, and send Zoom links when needed
  • Answer phones professionally, respond promptly to patient questions, and manage communication across phone, email, and messaging platforms
  • Verify insurance coverage, submit claims and authorizations, and assist with payment collection and financial coordination
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate patient charts, records, and portal documentation while ensuring attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Send X rays, records, and other documentation to patients, referring offices, and outside providers as needed
  • Support front office operations through filing, scanning, faxing, data entry, supply management, and other administrative tasks
  • Help check in patient appliances, organize incoming supplies, and assist with maintaining smooth daily office systems
  • Work closely with clinical staff to coordinate care and support communication between the team and patients
  • Assist with chair cleaning, room turnover, and other light operational tasks that help the office run efficiently
  • Be willing to learn new systems, take on new responsibilities, and assist with additional support tasks such as CBCT xrays extraction, present Treatment & payment options when needed

  • Prior dental, orthodontic, or medical front office experience is a plus (not required)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous front office, receptionist, dental, orthodontic, or medical office experience preferred
  • Comfortable with typing, computer laptop usage, email, and office software
  • Experience with Weave, dental software, or patient communication platforms is a plus
  • Able to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a healthcare setting
  • Willingness to help in both administrative and operational tasks as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
