What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plasma Table Operator position at Fabtration, LLC?
Fabtration is now hiring a full-time plasma table operator and waterjet operator!
Job Overview: Fabtration is custom steel fabricating company in Georgetown, Indiana. The job duties of a table operator include placing steel on the tables using forklifts and overhead cranes and use of the computer program that controls each machine. The ideal candidate for this position will be capable of reading a tape measure down to 1/16" and will also have a general knowledge of computers. Experience with plasma tables and waterjet machines is beneficial.
Types of Machines that will be operated:
- Techni waterjet
- Sabre Plasma table
- Overhead cranes
- forklifts
Experience is beneficial but not necessary; we train all new employees.
Shifts & Hours of Operation:
FULL TIME: Monday-Friday: 7:00 a.m. -3:30 p.m., Overtime available.
Pay: Our starting pay ranges between $20-$23 an hour BOE.
Our pay is based on experience. Each candidate will be scheduled to come in for an interview. The interview will give the employer an idea for experience the candidate has, as well as an opportunity for the candidate to experience the environment and scope of work expected.
Physical capabilities:
- Must be capable of reading a tape measure down to a sixteenth of an inch.
- Must be physically capable to perform general labor work requirements. (Standing, crawling, climbing, etc.)
- Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation.
