Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

While our headquarters is in Norwalk, this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement for candidates residing within the state of Ohio. Hybrid employees must be available to travel to the Norwalk location as needed throughout the year for equipment inspections and project collaboration.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Required).
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a mechanical engineer.
- Software Mastery: At least 5 years of experience operating 3D CAD software, specifically Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.
- Technical Depth: Proven experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and FEA software calculations.
- Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
- Manufacturing Fluency: Familiarity with the properties of steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, as well as the capabilities of CNC machining and fabrication tools.

- Status: This is a full-time, performance-based position.
- Location: 100% in-person at our facility in Norwalk, OH.
- Environment: You will navigate both a professional office and a dynamic manufacturing environment, ensuring your designs are functional and accurate through hands-on measurement and troubleshooting.
