Barista / Cashier – Fabrique New York
Fabrique is an artisanal stone oven bakery from Stockholm, Sweden. What we do is simple, but far from ordinary. We use fresh, natural ingredients and traditional methods to make artisanal pastries and sourdough bread. Since opening our first bakery in 2008, we have grown to 22 shops in Stockholm, 6 in London, and 4 in New York. We are looking for dedicated, passionate, hard-working individuals to become part of our team. Come grow with us!
Baristas/Cashiers are expected to be team-oriented, have basic POS and coffee knowledge, and be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in accordance with Fabrique's philosophy and standards.
Requirements:
- Passion for bread, pastries and coffee.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team.
- High standards of excellence and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Ability to develop a complete understanding of our daily menu items and confidently explain them to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
- Previous café or hospitality experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ensure all food displays are merchandised attractively according to Fabrique's standards, with strong attention to detail.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
All candidates must:
- Be willing and able to work weekends and holidays.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
