Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on used vehicles using automotive wiring diagrams, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines (gasoline and diesel), transmissions, electrical components, and ADAS features such as lane assist and collision avoidance.
- Conduct wheel alignments, suspension repairs, brake services, and steering system repairs to ensure optimal vehicle handling and safety.
- Interpret complex schematics and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
- Utilize power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to carry out repairs safely and effectively.
- Follow manufacturer specifications for engine repair, powertrain maintenance, and auto body repairs while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working on used vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive engine systems.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics with experience using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical system layouts accurately.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS technology installation and calibration is highly desirable.
- Skilled in the use of power tools, hand tools, and heavy lifting techniques required for vehicle maintenance.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wheel alignment procedures, and general mechanical repair skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
