We currently have a position available for a full time Marketing Administrator at our corporate office located in Lynden, WA.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on ownership, collaboration, and producing high-stakes deliverables under deadline. As Marketing Administrator, you will lead the full proposal lifecycle for public-sector pursuits while also supporting private pursuits with document design and proposal development. From early procurement and relationship building through interview coaching and collateral creation, you’ll combine strategy, writing, design, and project management to position Faber Construction as the clear choice for clients across Washington and Idaho.
Essential Functions:
Proposal Management & Business Development (75–85%)
- Procurement & Pipeline: Track RFQs/RFPs, engage with public agencies, and gather pre-release intelligence to prepare the team for upcoming pursuits.
- Go/No-Go & Strategy: Lead go/no-go discussions and kickoff meetings; define win themes, hot buttons, and value propositions tailored to each client.
- Collaboration & Writing: Partner with subject matter experts to capture technical content, then distill it into clear, persuasive language selection committees understand.
- Design & Compliance: Develop layouts, resumes, project sheets, and graphics that tell a compelling story while meeting all RFQ/RFP requirements.
- Project Management: Build and manage timelines, action plans, and review cycles to keep multiple pursuits moving forward with clarity and efficiency.
- Interview Preparation: Coach technical staff for interviews, develop messaging frameworks, and design polished visuals and handouts.
- Final Production: Oversee compliance checks, reviews, formatting, and on-time delivery (digital and print).
- Content Library: Develop, manage, and maintain a central repository of boilerplate text, resumes, and project profiles for efficient proposal development.
Marketing & Communications (15–25%)
- Capture and create content including photography, video, and graphics for marketing and project storytelling.
- Manage and grow the company’s social media presence across platforms.
- Produce marketing collateral such as brochures, project profiles, newsletters, and case studies.
- Support internal and external communications, highlighting project milestones, company culture, and community impact.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, proposal management, or a related field (AEC industry experience preferred).
- Valid driver's license required. Must be willing and capable of visiting job sites and attend off-site meetings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Comfortable facilitating meetings, coaching teams, and engaging with executives.
- Strong writing, editing, and graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign preferred).
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple pursuits.
