Position Summary
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in OB/GYN billing, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit insurance claims for Commercial, HMO, and Medicare plans.
- Apply accurate CPT and ICD-10 coding for OB/GYN services.
- Post charges, payments, and adjustments.
- Review and resolve claim denials efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support smooth revenue cycle operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience (OB/GYN experience strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of medical coding and payer requirements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Professional and dependable work ethic.
- Certification (CPC, CMRS, or similar) preferred but not required.
