CNC Laser Operator

Primary Responsibilities:

• Check machine settings to ensure correct lens, nozzle, assist gases and laser head are in place for optimal performance and cut quality.
• Responsible tor keeping material flowing to and from machine to optimize cut time and machine capabilities.
• Locate from stock and verify material required to produce parts per Work Order.
• Look for improvement opportunities to optimize production (example – lights out opportunities, head down cutting)
• Maintain equipment, including cleaning lens, trays, slats and dust collector.
• Experience with Mazak Lasers, Nesting Software and the ability to renest existing programs (Preferred)
• Ability to understand maintenance of the machine, reset alarms, address issues and perform all related tasks (Preferred)
• Must be dependable, on time and ready to work.
• Must be able to work overtime when needed.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
