Role Description
The HR Business Partner is a hands-on role that partners closely with store teams and retail leadership across a multi-state specialty retail organization. This position provides full-scope HR support, balancing practical day-to-day execution with thoughtful guidance to support culture, engagement, performance, and compliance.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of HR experience in a high-volume, multi-state retail or field-based environment
- Experience supporting employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, corrective action, and conflict resolution
- Working knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and risk mitigation across multiple states
- Experience supporting Workers’ Compensation, FMLA, ADA accommodations, and leave administration, often in partnership with third-party vendors
- Ability to respond to routine benefits questions and guide employees and managers in a self-service, lean HR model
- Strong ability to balance hands-on HR execution with partnership and guidance for field leaders
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with limited HR resources
