The Role at a Glance
You’ll master the art of the "frontline"—balancing high-accuracy financial transactions with meaningful member conversations. From opening new accounts to educating members on the best loan products for their needs, your day will be dynamic, social, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Advocacy: Act as a financial concierge, assisting members with deposits, loan payments, and withdrawals while identifying products (IRAs, Trusts, etc.) that truly benefit them.
- Expert Consulting: Assess member needs and "cross-sell" credit union services that help them save money or build their future.
- Financial Precision: Manage your cash drawer and daily transactions with 100% accuracy, performing daily balances and contributing to vault audits.
- Operational Excellence: Navigate our core banking systems to process assigned tasks and transactions.
- Compliance Champion: Stay up to date on industry regulations (BSA, OFAC) to keep our members and the institution safe.
What You Bring to the Table
- The "People" Factor: You’re a natural communicator who enjoys building rapport and can explain financial concepts clearly.
- Attention to Detail: You have a "detective’s eye" for numbers and accuracy in data entry.
- Tech Savviness: Comfortable with data entry and general office software; you can learn new banking systems quickly.

Physical & Environment Requirements
- Primarily an indoor, climate-controlled office setting.
- Ability to work on a computer/keyboard for 6-8 hours daily.
- Occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs) and navigating stairs/ladders as needed.
- Availability for extended hours during peak seasons or special events.
