Join our team at The Goose Grocer, where fresh, local, and community-minded service is at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented produce clerks to help us keep our produce department vibrant, stocked, and looking its best.
What You'll Do
- Maintain fully stocked, fresh, and attractive produce displays throughout the day
- Inspect fruits and vegetables for freshness, quality, and proper signage
- Assist customers with questions, special requests, and product recommendations
- Receive, unload, and break down daily produce deliveries
- Prep and package cut fruit, veggies, and value-added produce items (as needed)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and store guidelines
- Support storewide tasks and team members as needed
What We're Looking For
- A positive, customer-focused attitude
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working in coolers and handling perishable products
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Previous produce or grocery experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person
Schedule & Pay
- Must be available for a mix of mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
