Goose Community Grocer is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Beer, Wine & Spirits Department Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a key department, curate unique selections, and deliver outstanding service to our community.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the Beer, Wine & Spirits department.
- Merchandise, stock, and maintain displays to maximize sales and create an inviting shopping experience.
- Build relationships with vendors and distributors; coordinate product ordering and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with all state and local alcohol regulations.
- Train, schedule, and lead department staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor sales, manage budgets, and meet department performance goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in grocery, retail, or beverage/alcohol sales management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, including trends and regional products.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $20–$23, based on experience.
