Warehouse Efficiency & Quality Control Specialist

F.W. Webb, New England’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Warehouse Efficiency & Quality Control Specialist for its Hampden, ME location.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure stock of primary locations are consistently replenished and secondary locations are properly managed.
• Rotate stock seasonally, adapting for seasonal demand changes.
• Occasionally pick, pack, process, and ship inventory as needed to stay familiar with all day-to-day operations
• Through your own experience and through the feedback of peers, consistently identify areas and solutions to improve overall warehouse efficiencies
• Identify, flag and address any potential logistical accuracy concerns in real time
• Learn customer shipping preferences and work with peers to develop sound procedures to meet these demands on a consistent basis
• Operate equipment, such as forklifts, to move warehouse materials
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, getting involved in team member trainings as needed
• Multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment
• Adhering to all safety procedures and standards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills & problem-solving abilities
• Must be able to work first shift hours
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 50lbs
• Previous warehouse, forklift, and/or overhead crane experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
