F.W. Webb, New England’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Sales Engineer for its Canastota , NY location.
Responsibilities:
- Provide application and product support to outside salespeople and customers.
- Assist the customers, and outsides sales with technical questions about performance and application reliability, etc.
- Review and approve product applications.
- Review incoming orders for proper product selection and application.
- Product selection and quotations for project bid specifications
- Occasional field visits with field sales personnel to increase application knowledge
- Support Outside Sales with lead qualification/follow-up as needed
- Assist customers, and outsides sales with pricing and delivery information when required
Qualifications:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be proficient at use of Excel and Word
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task, and participate in solving technically challenging situations
- Must possess a high level of customer service
- Prior Control Valve, Steam, Instrumentation, and/or Industrial Experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
