As a Budtender at FOG Products, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and expert guidance to our clients seeking cannabis products. You will be responsible for ensuring a positive and educational experience for customers, assisting them in selecting appropriate cannabis products, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment within the dispensary. This position requires a strong knowledge of cannabis strains, products, consumption methods, and local regulations, we will train the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Assistance and Consultation:Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Listen attentively to customers' preferences, needs, and concerns regarding cannabis products.Educate customers on various cannabis strains, products, potency, and effects.Offer recommendations and guidance based on customers' individual preferences and desired outcomes.Answer customer questions regarding cannabis laws, regulations, and safe consumption practices.Provide information on different consumption methods and their effects.Product Knowledge and Sales:Stay up to date with current cannabis industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the dispensary's product offerings, including strains, edibles, topicals, concentrates, and accessories.
- Ensure accurate and detailed product information is communicated to customers.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate products based on their desired effects, potency, and preferences.
- Handle cash transactions, maintain cash registers, and process sales accurately.Inventory Management:Assist in managing inventory levels and stock rotation to ensure adequate product availability.
- Regularly check product expiration dates and ensure the sale of fresh and high-quality products.
- Help with restocking shelves and maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing display.Compliance and Security:Adhere to all applicable state and local laws and regulations regarding the sale and distribution of cannabis products.
- Verify customers' age and identification to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Follow proper security protocols to prevent theft and maintain a safe environment.Store Maintenance:Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dispensary environment.
- Assist with routine cleaning and sanitization of display cases, shelves, and sales areas.
- Ensure product labels and pricing are accurate and clearly visible.Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college education preferred).
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of different cannabis strains, products, consumption methods, and effects.
- Familiarity with local and state cannabis laws and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic math skills and cash handling experience.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.

Pay: $16.50 - $19.98 per hour
