The company has three divisions catering to the pharmaceutical industry and beyond: Howell Packaging, specializing in contract packaging services, including the design and manufacture of folding cartons and rigid boxes; Howell Plastics, a leader in custom thermoforming of high-quality plastic packaging products; and Howell Marketing Services, providing fulfillment and distribution services.
Role Description
The salesperson would be focused on creating new accounts and must effectively close sales to achieve aggressive sales goals. To identify and acquire new clients, the individual must conduct proper planning and focus on relationship development. The sales candidate must think strategically and be persuasive, tenacious, and an excellent communicator. Daily tasks will include prospecting, cold-calling, client meetings, sales presentations, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. The salesperson will be responsible for accurate sales forecasting and managing of customer information including inventory. This role requires same-day and overnight travel and attendance and in-person participation at sales team meetings. If you are competitive and like to win, this job is for you.
Qualifications
- 3 years of successful experience in sales, client acquisition, and maintaining client relationships
- Results driven and strong resiliency
- Knowledge of the packaging and life sciences industries are a plus
- Ability to conduct market research and analyze market trends
