FLP Atrato Consulting is an alternative investment consulting practice and advises clients with respect to their private equity, private credit, real estate, and hedge fund investments. We are looking to hire an investment analyst to focus on the growing need to evaluate predominately private equity investments (and other private markets) investment opportunities offered by fund and fundless sponsors.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in private equity or private credit research. Industry experience in growth-oriented sectors and/or real estate are preferred. The candidate must possess strong financial analytical ability, market research experience, creative investigative instincts, and an ability to juggle multiple projects at one time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investment due diligence of private markets investment managers in venture, private equity, and/or private credit.
- Perform industry and market research to identify emerging trends
- Assist in sourcing investment opportunities through networking, market research, and outreach.
- Prepare detailed investment memo and presentations for internal review and approval.
- Monitor and analyze investment managers, and underlying portfolio company performance post-investment.
- Stay informed about market developments, regulatory changes, and economic factors affecting private investments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. CFA path a plus.
- 2 years’ experience in PE, VC, investment banking, or corporate finance
- Strong analytical and writing skilss, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent research, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
