Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and support housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance
Train, coach, and mentor team members to exceed cleanliness, safety, and guest service standards
Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality, consistency, and attention to detail
Create and manage staff schedules to optimize efficiency and coverage
Monitor inventory levels and oversee ordering of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities
Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and adherence to safety and sanitation protocols
Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
Collaborate with front desk and maintenance teams to ensure seamless room readiness and guest experience
Step in to assist with cleaning duties as needed, especially during peak times
Continuously evaluate and improve housekeeping processes and team performance
Qualifications:
2–4 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks as needed
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
