Field Service & Wire Bond Applications Engineers

Responsibilities:
As a Field Service & Wire Bond Applications Engineer, your duties will include:
- Developing wire bond programs for sample processing
- Working with various wire bond technologies (ultrasonic and laser)
- Preparing and demonstrating equipment
- Selecting appropriate wire bond materials (tools, bonding wire, etc.)
- Generating wire bond sample reports and supporting SPC data analysis
- Installing and testing equipment at customer sites
- Training customers on equipment operation, processes, and calibration
- Creating training guides and troubleshooting/maintaining equipment
- Collaborating with our German HQ to improve and develop machine features
- Representing the company at trade shows in the USA as needed
Requirements:
- Team player with enthusiasm for learning new technologies
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and a desire to make an impact in a small team
- Passion for working with automatic machines and developing new processes
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and effective communication skills
- 1-2 years of experience with automatic equipment is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to travel 35-50% within the USA, Canada, Mexico, and occasional visits to our German HQ
- U.S. Citizenship and a B.S. in Engineering or a comparable technical degree
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required. It would be beneficial for communicating with our Spanish-speaking clients and team members in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
