Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Licensed Plumber (P-1 or P-2) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various plumbing systems, with a strong emphasis on residential service and bathroom remodeling.
Key Responsibilities
- Service & Repair: Diagnose and repair common and complex plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, dripping faucets, and pipe bursts.
- Water Heaters: Install, maintain, and repair gas, electric, and oil-fired water heaters.
- Remodeling: Assist in bathroom and kitchen remodeling projects, including the installation of premium fixtures from brands like Kohler, Moen, and Delta.
- Emergency Response: Participate in a 24/7 emergency service rotation to handle urgent plumbing and heating issues for our clients.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work is performed according to Connecticut state plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide clear explanations and transparent pricing to customers, ensuring a 5-star service experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensing: Must hold a valid Connecticut Plumbing License (P-1 or P-2).
- Experience: Proven experience in residential and commercial plumbing service.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in working with various materials (Copper, PEX, PVC) and brands (AO Smith, American Standard, Toto, etc.).
- Problem Solving: Strong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment (50 lbs), work in cramped spaces (crawl spaces, under sinks), and climb ladders.
- Driving: Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license to operate company service vehicles.
