background in 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining, programming, and process
improvement, with experience operating CNC milling machines. This role
requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work
collaboratively in a job shop environment and work well with others. The
CNC Machinist will be responsible for training upcoming 3-, 4-, and
5-axis machinists, reviewing upcoming jobs, and working with management
to improve current processes Responsibilities \* Operate CNC milling
machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. \*
Program CNC machines using Mastercam 24 and Solidworks languages as
necessary. \* Utilize hand tools and machinery safely and effectively to
complete tasks. \* Conduct inspections of finished products using GD&T
principles to ensure compliance with quality standards. \* Perform
routine maintenance on equipment \* Collaborate with team members to
optimize production processes and improve efficiency. \* Maintain a
clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Experience \* Proven experience as a 5 axis CNC Machinist in a job shop
environment. \* Proficiency in programming CNC machines, particularly
with Siemens controls systems is highly desirable. \* Familiarity with
tooling setups and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues
effectively. \* Knowledge of GD&T principles is preferred for quality
assurance purposes. \* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving
