Description
Job Description: This person will have the following responsibilities
1) Operate a CNC machine
2) Loading and unloading of machined parts with various jigs and fixtures
3) Read and understand blue prints
4) Make adjustments to tools to produce a compliant part and change tools as necessary
5) Perform inspection of parts with micrometers, vernier calipers and other measuring equipment
6) De-burring as required for later operations
7) Some heavy lifting required
8) Housekeeping
9) Maintenance of the CNC machines and areas
10) Become familiar with Sinclair's QMS requirements as they relate to the CNC Dept.
11) Prior CNC experience required and experience with kovar and titanium extremely useful.
12) This position involves working with oil and water-soluble coolants.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Language Skills: Ability to read and understand, business correspondence as it relates to the job function, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Sinclair personnel.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
