Oilfield Truck Driver (CDL-A)

We are seeking an experienced CDL-A Truck Driver to safely haul and deliver oilfield tubulars (drill pipe, casing, tubing, and line pipe) between pipe yards, staging areas, and active rig sites. This role requires skilled off-road driving, strict adherence to safety standards, and physical hands-on load securement (binding, strapping, and staking pipe loads).

Key Responsibilities

• Transport & Delivery: Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer combinations (flatbeds, step-decks, or pole trailers) to deliver pipe to remote active drill sites and storage yards.
• Load Securement: Properly secure pipe loads using heavy-duty chains, ratchets, straps, pipe stakes, and dunnage. Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) cargo securement standards.
• Site Navigation: Drive on unpaved, uneven, narrow lease roads, and navigate challenging off-road terrain under varying weather conditions.
• Loading/Unloading Coordination: Assist forklift operators, crane operators, or gin pole crews during loading and unloading operations; perform manual pipe rolling or unbinding when required.
• Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough daily vehicle inspections (brakes, tires, load securement hardware, hydraulics) and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records, bills of lading, and delivery receipts. Strictly abide by OSHA, DOT, and site-specific oilfield safety regulations (PPE requirements, H2S awareness).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving; prior flatbed or oilfield transport experience preferred.
• PEC Premier / Safeland USA card and H2S Alive certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, handle heavy chains/binders, and work outdoors in extreme weather (heat, cold, mud).
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Working Conditions & Schedule

• Environment: Outdoor oilfield environments with exposure to dirt, mud, dust, high noise, and fluctuating weather conditions.
• Schedule: Shift work, including night shifts, weekends, and potential call-outs depending on drilling operations. Rotational schedules (e.g., 12 days on / 2 days off
